Our story

Three places.
Three harvests.

We don't own fields or mines. We do something simpler. We buy from one of Kashmir's most established houses, people who have graded saffron, sorted walnuts and handled Ladakhi shilajit for decades, and we bring their best lots to your door.

How we choose

Few products, chosen carefully

One trusted source

Instead of buying from many traders, we work with a single long-standing Kashmiri house that knows every grower, collector and orchard it buys from.

The new season, sampled first

Each season we sample the new lot before it goes on sale. If the colour, aroma or taste falls short, we wait for the next one.

Only what we'd keep at home

We keep the range short on purpose. Saffron, shilajit and the valley's dry fruits are what Kashmir and Ladakh do best, so that's what we sell.

    Common questions

How do I place an order?

Add products to your bag, select Checkout and enter your delivery details. We email you to confirm the order and share payment options, then dispatch once payment is received.

Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

Across India and worldwide. In India, delivery usually takes 3–7 working days after dispatch; international orders take 7–14 working days depending on customs. See Shipping for details.

    Is shipping free?

Yes. Delivery is free within India on orders of ₹3,000 or more. Below ₹3,000, a flat delivery fee of ₹99 applies. International shipping is quoted with your order.

What's the difference between Kashmiri and Iranian saffron?

Kashmiri Mongra saffron from Pampore has thicker, deep-red threads and a stronger aroma. Iranian saffron is imported and a little milder. We label each one clearly so you always know which you're buying.

How do I check that saffron is real?

Drop a few threads into warm water. Real saffron releases a golden-yellow colour slowly over several minutes, and the threads stay red. Fake or dyed saffron colours the water red almost at once.

How should I store saffron and dry fruits?

Keep saffron in its sealed jar, away from light, heat and moisture, and use it within a year. Store walnuts and almonds in an airtight container in a cool place; kernels last longest in the fridge in summer.

My honey has turned thick or grainy. Is it spoiled?

No. Raw, unheated honey crystallises naturally, and sulai honey often sets creamy. Stand the jar in warm (not hot) water to make it runny again.

How do I take shilajit, and is it safe for everyone?

Dissolve a pea-sized portion in warm water or milk once a day. Speak to your doctor before using it if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, take medication or have a health condition.

    Can I return a product?

Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Opened food items can't be returned, but if anything arrives damaged or wrong, tell us within 48 hours and we'll replace or refund it. See Returns.

Do you sell in bulk or for corporate gifting?

Yes. Use the Request catalog form on our Wholesale page and we'll reply within two working days.

    How do I contact you?

Email support@vedickashmir.com or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within one working day.
